History of Shridhar University, Rjasthan

Shridhar University, Rajasthan located in Pilani, Rajasthan, is a self-financed private university established by the Government of Rajasthan in 2010. The Shridhar University, Rajasthan was established through the Rajasthan Government Gazette dated 3 April 2010 and was subsequently notified by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956, on 31 May 2010.
The Shridhar University, Rajasthan was established as an initiative of Sarvhit Trust, Meerut, with a vision of creating an institution that combines quality education, professional skills, research, innovation and human values. The founding vision was associated with Late Shri Vijay Pal Yadav, the founding Chairperson, who emphasized education as a means of individual development and wider social transformation.
The establishment of Shridhar University, Rajasthan marked an important step toward expanding access to higher education in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. Situated on the Pilani–Chirawa Road, the university developed a campus designed to provide students with an environment for academic learning, professional development and research.From its foundation, the Shridhar University, Rajasthan has focused on multidisciplinary education, offering academic opportunities across areas such as engineering and technology, business, law, sciences, humanities and other fields. Its academic structure has evolved over time to include multiple schools and programs at undergraduate, postgraduate and other levels.
The university's current academic offerings span several disciplines, including Engineering and Technology, Business Studies, Basic and Applied Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Legal Studies and Governance, Agriculture and Veterinary Science, Library Science and Informatics, and Medicine-related programs
